Hope English School is a Sheffield based charity specialising in the provision of ESOL classes and digital skills training to refugees, those seeking asylum and other vulnerable adults.
We work with a variety of organisations across South Yorkshire and it’s surrounding counties to provide community based classes to those most in need.
one to one esol
We don’t feel that English classes should only be open to those who are able attend a group setting, which is why we developed our one to one tuition. These bespoke classes are tailored to all levels, and work at the individual’s pace to build confidence and support them in their language learning.
community esol
Taught by fully qualified and experienced teachers our community ESOL classes are designed to provide students with the language skills they need to fully integrate into society, providing hope and opportunity.
digital skills
We developed our Digital Skills programme in response to the digital divide, highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which showed the huge number of refugees and people seeking asylum without access to digital devices and those skills needed to navigate them.
