Volunteer childcare co-ordinator

Do you have experience of working with pre-school children and would like to help develop and shape our childcare services? We are looking for a volunteer childcare co-ordinator to organise our creche volunteers as well as taking a lead on how our childcare is structured and run.

Creche volunteer

Do you enjoy working with children? Would you like to become one of our childcare volunteers and help to care for our student’s children in our creche? Help to support parents as they learn English in an environment which is free from distraction.

Your tasks would include: 

  • Playing with/reading to and generally entertaining the children of our students.

  • Setting up and tidying away the toys at the beginning and end of the session under the supervision of the childcare co-ordinator.

Creche volunteers would need to be available every Wednesday 9am - 1.30am during term time (starting September ‘24). You can bring your own child(ren) with you if necessary.

Creche volunteers must be over the age of 18.

Job description:

As a Fundraising Volunteer you will bring your expertise and energies to helping us to plan, organise and deliver fundraising events. To help raise funds and awareness of Hope English School. 

Your tasks will include: 

Working with the fundraising events co-ordinator to plan, organise and deliver fun and engaging events, through: 

  • Building relationships with local venues/organisations who can help support our events 

  • Developing marketing/promo materials 

  • Contacting local businesses/individuals for sponsorship/prizes etc 

  • Sourcing materials/venue/food/resources  

  • Helping at the event on the day
